The Human Record
A public, inspectable record of human creation and its provenance — built with artificial intelligence, for humans and whatever comes next.
We are starting deliberately small.
Synthetic media is becoming abundant. Provenance can disappear much faster than culture does. The aim here is not to decide what counts as art, certify truth, or guess whether something was made by a human from its pixels.
The aim is simpler: preserve what can still be checked. Who made something. When. Where the evidence comes from. What is known. What is uncertain. What later corrections changed.
One real provenance specimen already exists. More may follow only if the method survives contact with the world.
